How to Preview Your Order with Our Free Proofing Option

At Diploma Company, we understand that placing an order without seeing exactly what you’ll receive can be nerve-wracking. That’s why our free proofing option gives you a full, personalized mock-up of your custom diploma, transcript, or certificate—complete with your name, date, layout, and signatures—before it ever goes to print. Once your proof is ready, your assigned designer will email you a secure link to view it in our proofing portal (no on-site login required).

How to Request a Proof (Choose & Check “Yes” in Order Form)


  • Browse All Services & Request a ProofView all our products and services, choose your exact document (e.g., “ High School Diploma from USA”).
  • Select “Yes” for “Request Sample?” – On the product page, check “Yes”—this triggers a digital mock-up of your order, complete with your custom name, seals, and signatures.
  • Complete Checkout – There’s no extra fee for requesting a proof. Once you finish checkout with “Request Sample?” selected, our design team starts building your digital mock-up.

How You’ll Receive Your Proof


  • Email Notification – As soon as your designer finishes the mock-up, you’ll receive an email titled “Your DiplomaCompany.com Proof Is Ready.”
  • Click the Secure Link – That email contains a link to our proofing portal, a separate website (not where you placed your order). You will not log into DiplomaCompany.com to view your proof. Simply click the link in your inbox, and the portal opens in a new tab. From there, you can view your proof and leave comments or reply directly to your assigned designer through the help desk interface.

What You’ll See in Your Proof


When you open the PDF/JPEG mock-up, you’ll see a detailed, digital preview of your custom document. Here’s exactly what appears:

  • Document Layout: Full page as it will print—borders, fonts, formatting, and design.
  • Text & Personal Details: Your name, graduation date, degree title, institution name, and any custom wording. Verify spelling, capitalization, and spacing.
  • Signatures & Seals: Preview signatures and seals. (Paper texture, embossing, or raised foil won’t show digitally, but placement, size, and style are accurate.)
  • Zoom & Detail Check: Zoom in to inspect spacing, alignment, and graphic placement—everything is shown in high resolution so no detail is missed.

If you notice anything that needs adjustment—such as a typo, incorrect font, or wrong date—you can request revisions immediately by replying to your proof notification email or leaving a comment in the proofing portal. We’ll revise and send a new mock-up until you’re completely satisfied.

Turnaround Time for Proofs


  • Orders before 1 pm EDT: We aim to complete your initial proof the same day, ahead of our afternoon shipping cutoff.
  • Orders after 1 pm EDT: Proofs will typically be ready by the next business morning.
  • Need a Proof After Cutoff? If you place your order after 1 pm EDT but still need same-day or expedited proofing, please call us at 866-687-5403 or use live chat during our hours (Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm EST). We’ll do our best to make exceptions when our design team is available.

Approval Timeframe


After you click the emailed link and view your proof in the portal, you’ll have seven days to:

  • Approve: Click “Approve Proof” and we proceed to print/shipping.
  • Request edits: Use the portal’s comment tools for any changes. We’ll revise and send a fresh mock-up.

If we don’t receive your final approval within seven days, the order is automatically canceled (and any authorized payment released).

Communication and Support


  • Proofing Portal Questions: If you don’t see the “Proof Is Ready” email within 24 hours of ordering, check your spam/junk folder first. If you still can’t find it, visit our Proofing Portal FAQ or contact us immediately so we can resend your access link.
  • General Proofing Questions: For any other issues—timeline questions, additional edits, or technical problems—give us a call at 866-687-5403 (Mon – Fri, 9 am – 4 pm EST) or start a live chat.

Reminder: Proofs are not hosted on DiplomaCompany.com. You must click the link in your approval email to view or comment on your mock-up. There is no way to preview your proof by logging in to our store.

Opting Out of a Proof


Proofing is optional. To skip the mock-up and print immediately, leave the “Request Sample?” checkbox unchecked at checkout. Even if you opt out, you still receive our 90-day satisfaction guarantee. If you discover any issues after delivery, let us know within 90 days and we’ll make it right—no questions asked.
